According to IFS (International Featured Standard – Food) Fischer Brot was one of the first Austrian bakeries to be certified in 2004. Since 2017, all IFS audits are unannounced. This guarantees our customers a quality management system that has been practiced for many years with a focus on the highest product safety and continuous improvement.

The AMA seal of quality stands for pastry quality from Austria. From the selection of raw materials to production – all processes are transparent and regularly controlled. The raw materials for our AMA products, such as cereals, regionally typical seeds and dairy products, come from Austrian agriculture.

The careful use of energy is becoming increasingly important in an age of rising energy costs and dwindling resources. According to ISO 50001 Fischer Brot has been certified since December 2015. The purpose of this energy-specific standard is to establish systems and processes that contribute to improving energy-related performance. By applying the standards, energy management systematically contributes to reducing energy consumption, energy costs, greenhouse gas emissions and other environmental impacts.

Klimabündnis Upper Austria
The “Klimabündnis” is the largest communal climate protection network in Austria. The core of the “Klimabündnis” work is service and awareness-raising, networking and further training as well as the execution of projects and campaigns in the areas of climate protection, climate justice and climate change adaptation. The “Klimabündnis” Austria association consists of nine state associations. Fischer Brot with its location in Pichling (Im Südpark) has been a member of the Climate Alliance since November 2023.
