What is personal data?

Personal data is information about natural persons whose identity is determined or at least determinable (e.g. name, e-mail address, IP address).

How do we process your personal data?

Depending on your relationship with us, your data will be processed in different ways. For specific information on this, please refer to the explanations on the individual groups of persons affected from the respective corresponding area of responsibility.

Data subject rights

We would also like to inform you that you have the right at any time,

  • Request information about which of your data is processed by us,
  • Have your data corrected or deleted,
  • restrict the processing of your data,
  • to object to the data processing,
  • data portability.

If we process your data on the basis of your consent, you have the right to revoke this consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of the data processing carried out up to that point.

If, despite our commitment to process your data lawfully, there is unexpectedly a breach of your right to lawful processing of your data, please contact us by mail or email so that we can learn about and address your concerns. Use of the websites

We process personal data for the purpose of presenting the content on our website on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO) or to comply with our legal obligations (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DSGVO). Our legitimate interests lie

  • in the provision of website functionality,
  • in the ongoing development and improvement of our website,
  • in maintaining website operation and security,
  • in self-protection (protection of property and protection of employees),
  • in the protection of responsibility as well as
  • in the prevention, containment and clarification of criminally relevant conduct, insofar as this affects the area of responsibility of the person responsible.

Your data is automatically recorded in so-called log files for system backup. The collection of the data and its storage in log files is necessary for the operation of the website, so that there is no possibility for you to object. Log information is automatically deleted as soon as it is no longer needed. Storage beyond this is only carried out if this is provided for by law or is absolutely necessary to protect legitimate interests.

The analysis software Powik PRO is used to improve the user interface. The data is anonymized and hosted on our own server. After evaluation, the data is aggregated at regular intervals and individual access data is deleted. Applicant

Purpose

When you apply for a job with us, we use personal data of applicants, insofar as this data has been provided, for the purpose of

  • Processing of applications within the framework of personnel management;
  • Conduct pre-screening for job interviews;
  • Evidentiary retention of applications.

 

Legal basis

If you apply for a specific job, we process your data on the basis of the fulfillment of a contract or the implementation of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO).

If you send us an unsolicited application or give us permission to retain your data, we process your data on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO).

If you provide us with data that constitutes a special category of personal data (e.g. health data) in order to take your special needs into account, we do so in order to fulfill obligations arising from employment law (Art. 9 (2) lit. b DSGVO). If your intended activity requires a particular level of trustworthiness, we process data provided by you about criminal convictions and criminal offenses. We do this on the basis of legitimate interests or legitimate third parties to verify your suitability in the context of self-protection (protection of property and protection of employees) and the protection of responsibility (§ 4 para. 3 line 2 DSG).

Based on a balancing of interests in favor of the responsible party or legitimate third parties, data processing is carried out on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO):

  • for efficient process design and optimal fulfillment of the stated purposes;
  • for self-protection (protection of the company and company premises, e.g. video surveillance) and responsibility protection (e.g. contractual liability towards customers);
  • for the assertion or defense of legal claims.

 

 

Storage duration

Your data will be stored for as long as is necessary for a decision on your application, but for no longer than seven months after a possible filling of the advertised position.

If you agree to a record keeping in the course of your application, your data will be processed on the basis of your consent (Art 6 para 1 lit a DSGVO). With your consent, we store your data for a period of 7 months. Before the expiration of this period, you will receive an e-mail from us with an invitation to extend the record keeping for another 7 months. The renewal option will thus be offered to you every 7 months until you no longer agree to the renewal. Then your data will be deleted.

You can revoke your consent at any time at the contact point for data subjects.
