The Oberbank Linz Donau Marathon is Upper Austria’s largest sporting event and once again sent a strong message this year about physical activity, team spirit, and solidarity. With over 21,000 participants and fully booked races, the city of Linz once again served as the stage for a weekend of top athletic performances.
Fischer Brot, as a long-standing partner, was once again actively involved. Starting early in the morning, our employees ensured the smooth distribution of the Original Linz Marathon rolls. At the same time, numerous colleagues participated in the race themselves, demonstrating their athletic dedication.
The Fischer Brot relay team achieved a special success, securing an outstanding 3rd place in the mixed relay standings.
Fischer Brot was also represented at the awards ceremony: Wilhelm Fischer, together with Norbert Tragwöger and Katrin Wachauer (ORF), presented the trophies for the inline skating competition.
Special thanks go to Günther Weidlinger and the entire LIVA team for their professional organization, as well as to all the emergency services that contributed to the successful execution of the event.
