Successful 1st media talk on the Linz Marathon 2025
On February 24, the first media talk on the Linz Marathon 2025 took place at Oberbank Linz. As usual, the event was perfectly organized and offered exciting insights into the country’s largest mass sports event.
Great anticipation for the marathon
The enthusiasm for the running event is unbroken. “Running is the trend!”, emphasizes Günther Weidlinger B.Sc. (Linz Marathon organization). This is also reflected in the current registration figures, which are already 20% up on the same period last year.
Strong partners, strong community
Fischer Brot is once again represented as an official partner this year with the Original Linz Marathon Weckerl. The healthy snack was tasted directly after the media conference.
The countdown is on!
The focus is now on the big day: the starting signal for the Linz Marathon will be given on April 13, 2025! The whole city is already looking forward to this sporting highlight – when it’s time to say: On your marks, get set – MARATHON!
